The Groundwater Foundation, National Ground Water Association, and Water Systems Council Boards gathered for a networking social on Monday evening.

NGWA CEO Terry morse (left, standing) and Past Board President David Henrich, watch the auctioneer take bids. The Silent Auction ended at the Delegates Meeting, which also featured a live auction for items such as a fishing trip on the Columbia River, Cleveland Indians tickets, a Carlos Santa signed guitar, a Heron Instruments package, and more. All together, the auctions and Putt Putt for Groundwater raised over $45,000 for Groundwater Foundation programs!

The Groundwater Foundation hosted students from Las Vegas area schools to learn about groundwater with the Awesome Aquifer Kit. Students also toured the Exhibit Hall to learn more about well drilling and water well contractors.

The students had a great time experimenting with their aquifer models - watching how groundwater and surface water interact, how wells work, how groundwater can be contaminated and more.
