Pop Up Educator Conferences
The Groundwater Foundation has partnered with the Nebraska Department of Education and the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science to offer a series of Pop Up Educator Conferences this summer. Each day-long conference will provide useful information about phenomena in science instruction and how to use fun, hands-on tools for groundwater education in the classroom.

Water Education Leaders for Secondary Science (WELS2)
The Water Education Leaders for Secondary Science (WELS2) project at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of a 15-month sustained professional development program for secondary STEM teachers in the state of Nebraska focused on teaching and learning about water resources. The program will involve a set of diverse professional learning experiences, including a participation in water science research projects, online STEM coursework, and face-to-face workshops.
