The Aquifer
The Aquifer is a quarterly newsletter published by The Groundwater Foundation. The Aquifer provides up-to-date information on groundwater-related issues and new technological developments. The publication also provides news on The Groundwater Foundation's programs and upcoming events.
Major items published in The Aquifer have included an interview with Paul W. Johnson, chief of the Natural Resources Conservation Service, a series of articles by Nancy Galloway detailing the toxic waste issues in Russia, as well as a series of articles by Rick Leonard on climate change and how it affects groundwater. Other popular themes covered by The Aquifer include drought, innovative conservation tactics and Groundwater Guardian project profiles.
